Half Day

Half days are 4-5 hours and generally limited to the Green Valley, Madera & Florida Canyons, and Tubac/Rio Rico Areas.  We could also visit Patagonia, Patagonia Lake, or Pena Blanca Lake with the understanding that birding time is limited by driving time.

Full Day

Full days are 8-10 hours and the field of opportunities expands. During a single full day, we can cover areas around Tucson and then up the Catalina Highway for some mountain birding or we could visit multiple locations in the Patagonia area like the Paton Center for Hummingbirds (TAS), Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve (TNC),  Patagonia Lake State Park, & others or some select locations near Sierra Vista.  We could also do a more thorough coverage of Madera Canyon and vicinity than we can in a half day.

Multiple Days

Multi-day tours (two or more days) can come in various flavors. Either the guiding days can be back-to-back or interspersed with one or more non-guiding day(s). These tours can originate  from the same location every guiding day or different locations each day.  Please use the link below for opinions.
