Flame-colored Tanager (Piranga bidentata)
|
Assuming the same bird, this male Flame-colored Tanager is entering his eighth season in Madera Canyon. Fond of the jelly and fruit provided at Madera Kubo he spends much of the day in the vicinty. He arrived this year (3/27/10) near his average arrival date, last year he was nearly a month later. |
