Deposits � A deposit of $50 per day is required to hold dates;
regardless of full day, half-day, or number of participants. That is $50 times the number of days you are reserving.
Please mail a personal check made out to Laurens Halsey or Desert Harrier to the address below.
For clients outside of the United States please use a money order service such as MoneyGram® or
Western Union® (U.S. funds). If I do not receive your deposit in a timely manner (about a week from U.S.)
you could lose your reservation. It is a good idea to e-mail me when you have sent your deposit.

Payments � Payment accepted in the form of cash, personal check (U.S. bank),
and traveler's checks. I presently do not take credit cards.
Cancellations � If you must cancel your reservation, the deposit
is forfeited unless I am able to book other clients for the same dates. If I am able to rebook your dates,
I will refund your deposit less a $10 handling fee. If I must cancel (for whatever reason) your deposit
will be refunded in full and I will attempt to put you in touch with another guide.

Notes
1) Other rates may apply if booking through another organization. In addition to booking directly with Desert
Harrier Guiding Service, you may book my services through AZ-Birding and some of the local lodges.
2) Charges for mileage pertain to the use of my vehicle, including the two-way distance traveled to meet you from my
residence.
3) There is no mileage charge for pickup & birding in the Green Valley - Madera Canyon area. If I meet you away from
the Green Valley - Madera Canyon area and then we use your vehicle for birding, the mileage charge is only my two-way
distance traveled to your location.
4) The mileage rate quoted above may vary based on the price of fuel.
